PROCESS DESCRIPTION

These plants have been developed by to meet the needs of the economic and easy operations. They have been standardized for different appropriate capacities. Plants with full aerobic activated sludge process, eliminates the odor nuisance and other disturbing problems of sewage.

Plants with continuous process:
The wastewater passing through the coarse screen goes to the aeration section by gravitational flow or a lifting pump. Activated sludge is produced in the aeration section by giving air to the wastewater. The air comes from the blower spreading uniformly by diffusers. After optimized retention time in the aeration phase, the wastewater passes to a secondary clarifier where the sludge is deposited in the bottom of the reactor. The clarified liquid pass to the chlorination section and the sludge is recirculated to the aeration chamber. These units may have also a sludge storage tank or an ecualization tank depending on the application. A positive displacement blower is installed to supply the air for the process requirement and for the airlift pumps located in the secondary clarifier.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • The equipment used in the plant are completely manufactured and erected in our factory.
  • The units are manufactured appropriate for transportation in standard container sizes.
  • Influent line, effluent line and electrical connections are the only site works before start up.
  • Standard layout of the plant is above surface level. If required, the plant can be placed underground or in basement.
  • The system can be easily adjusted for limited space. Due to modularity of the system, the capacity can be increased by additional units.
  • The units are manufactured in mild steel. For protection against corrosion, all the surfaces are cleaned by sand blasting and painted with epoxy primer and then the wet surfaces are painted with coal – tar epoxy and outside surfaces with epoxy.
  • Operation and maintenance of the system is very simple. There is no qualified personnel required.

MODELS:
"EA" – Extended Aereation: low load activated sludge systems. Specially design for maximum performance, simpler operation and low excess sludge generation. This is the ideal process for this size of treatment.
"AS" – Activated Sludge: When there are lack of space or when the transportation costs are quite expensive this is an alternative of treatment. It's a medium load activated sludge process. These plants are considerably smaller but a greater amount of sludge is generated. It's integrated in this unit an aerobic digester.
